Cursed Text Generator
The heaviest glitch this site produces. Where the Zalgo tool aims for a legible corrupted look, cursed text stacks marks until the letters are buried and the spill reaches several lines in each direction.
It uses the same combining-mark mechanism at roughly double the intensity: up to eight marks above, seven below and three through each character. Legibility is not the goal here — the effect is.

What Makes It Cursed
Same mechanism as Zalgo, different parameters — and the parameters change the character of the result completely.
Roughly double the mark density
Where the medium glitch adds up to four marks above and three below, cursed adds up to eight and seven. That is enough to obscure the base characters rather than merely decorate them.
The spill dominates the layout
Marks are drawn outside the line box, so at this density the glitch extends several line heights up and down. Anything above or below on the page is obscured.
Still fully deterministic
The same seeded generator drives the mark selection, so a given input always produces exactly the same cursed output. Nothing changes between page loads.
Whitespace is still spared
Spaces carry no marks. At this intensity that is the only thing preventing a multi-word phrase from becoming a single indistinguishable mass.

Handle With Care
Everything true of Zalgo is more true here. These are the practical limits.
Character counts explode
A six-character word can exceed a hundred code points. Most character-limited fields will be full before you finish a word.
It obscures surrounding content
The vertical spill covers text above and below. In a chat, that means other people's messages, which is exactly why many communities ban it.
Rendering cost is real
Laying out hundreds of stacked marks is genuinely expensive. Long cursed strings can visibly slow a page or an app.
Expect it to be filtered
Platforms that tolerate light glitch text frequently strip heavy runs. If your text arrives plain at the other end, this is why.
Where Cursed Text Survives
Support is worse than for medium glitch, precisely because the disruption is greater.
Discord
Renders in messages but is banned by many servers and stripped by moderation bots. Nicknames are usually rejected outright because they break the member list.
X and Instagram
Long cursed strings are frequently truncated. Keep it to one or two words if you want the whole thing to appear.
Games and chat clients
Commonly filtered as abusive input, since the spill obscures other players' messages. Assume it will be stripped unless you have tested otherwise.
Images and video
The most reliable route: render the cursed text once, screenshot it, and use the image. Nothing can strip a picture.

Horror thumbnails and titles
A single cursed word in a thumbnail communicates genre instantly, and as an image it cannot be filtered.
ARG and puzzle atmosphere
Cursed text signals "something is wrong with this transmission" faster than any amount of writing.
Halloween graphics
One cursed word above ordinary text sets the tone without making anything unreadable.
Stress-testing text handling
Cursed strings are an excellent worst case for testing how your own software truncates, normalises and renders Unicode.
